Rescheduling procedures + guidelines

to my 2020 couples…

After photographing weddings for years, I thought I had seen it all. Man, was I wrong. I've already had to reschedule more weddings in 2020 than throughout all of the years of my career combined. This is why I've put together this rescheduling procedures & guidelines resource for you to access as you navigate through the rescheduling process.

Please know that these policies & guidelines are based on the current information available and are subject to change. These are meant to help us navigate this process in broad terms, but not everything will be a "one size fits all" method. Know that my goal is to make every effort possible to still capture your wedding– in whatever form that takes– while simultaneously trying to adapt best business practices to endure the changes that coronavirus will inevitably have on the future of the wedding industry. Use this page as a guide, but talking one-on-one is where we can really make your unique rescheduling vision come to life.

Remember, at the end of the day you still have each other & whatever you choose as your new plan, your day will be incredibly special and I can’t wait to be there to help capture those memories!

Love,
Victoria

When can we reschedule for?

Your contract is transferrable to any date I'm available for through the end of 2021. If you're thinking of pushing your celebration into 2022, let's chat one-on-one.

Peak Season Saturdays: Please note that if you're rescheduling your wedding to a Saturday in peak wedding season (May 15 through October 31), a $500 surcharge will be applied to reflect 2021 pricing.

No additional rescheduling fees apply outside of peak season Saturdays.

"I Do" now, party later...

If you’re still wanting to exchange vows on your original wedding date, I’m still down to photograph it as long as we’re abiding by whatever the current social distancing measures are at the time. Whether it’s an elopement or intimate gathering, I’d love to capture it and use it as a chance to get some EPIC bride & groom portraits (without constraints of a traditional wedding day timeline, we can get creative with multiple locations and have the luxury of time).

If you go this route, we will effectively cancel our current contract and create a new arrangement based on your unique situation. The retainer you've already paid will be applied towards your elopement/small wedding, and the remaining balance will be due 30 days before your wedding.

Please note that with this option, I’ll need to know in advance to coordinate travel plans or schedule an associate photographer capture your small wedding.

Can we put a date on hold?

Yes! I am allowing for couples to put a hold on one date if you're thinking of moving your wedding date but need a little time to coordinate with your vendor team and make a final call. If I get contacted for that date, you'll be notified right away via email and have 24 hours to decide if you would like to keep a hold of that date.

Please note that your original date is secure until a contract addendum is
signed stating otherwise.

We have a new date! What's next?

Once we've coordinated a new date for you, we'll need to sign a new contract for your new date. In addition to the mutually signed contract, I'll also be asking for a $1000 retainer to hold your new date (this payment will be applied towards your balance). The final payment will now be due 30 days before your new date.
